GMG Ski Festival and Races (open to all!)
Saturday, February 4th
Start/Finish area – near Practice Loop/Warming Hut
Nordic terrain park features will be near the restroom area for the kids.
10:30am - 5K* (Sunset-Lions-Arroyo-back up Lions) (7th-8th grade) Boys, HS and adults - parents are welcome and encouraged (baby trailer division)!)
11:00am - 3K(Winslow-Lions-Arroyo-back up Lions) - (7th-8th grade) Girls
11:01am - 3K(Winslow-Lions-Arroyo-back up Lions) - (5th-6th grade) Boys
11:02am - 3K(Winslow-Lions-Arroyo-back up Lions) - (5th-6th grade) Girls
11:30am - 2K(Winslow-Lions)- (3rd-4th grade) Boys
11:31am - 2K(Winslow-Lions)- (3rd-4th grade) Girls
11:45am - .75K (practice loop + short loop) - (2nd grade) Boys
11:46am - .75K (practice loop + short loop) - (2nd grade) Girls
11:55am - (short loop) - (K-1st grade) Boys and Girls (Interval Start) (we will announce each child's name, and then he/she will ski a short loop to show you what they have learned)
There will be prizes, and all participants will receive a ribbon!
12:10pm - Group photo (this will be put on the website... If you do NOT want your child in the photo, or if you did not sign our general release, please make sure your child is not in the group shot)
12:15pm - TURN in Rental Equipment
12:30pm - Group picnic (weather permitting) - bring your own lunch!

Need volunteers for: timing, starting and finishing, intersection, sweeping race course, and assistance with ski rental collection.
